It is known employee job satisfaction related to motivation, performance, retention, and other factors which are beneficial the employer. In recent decades, some have used work of Self-Determination Theory claim pay irrelevant promote idea it an employee’s commitment, attitude, programs employer offers that important satisfaction, morale, retention. However, has neither stated nor confirmed this concept. a study considering if what extent relationship exists between rate monetary compensation was found statistically significant positive overall, extrinsic, intrinsic satisfaction. The sample consisted N = 129 employees Fortune 500 companies within United States America. Utilizing Spearman’s rank-order correlation overall resulted in ρ .290, extrinsic .227, .325 all demonstrating with compensation. This article discusses current literature, results, implications.
